The Emergency Services Show 2019

Last week, the Sugdens team made their annual trip down to the NEC in Birmingham for the Emergency Services Show.

Once again it was such a good, well attended event that we were proud to be a part of.

With visitors from all across the Emergency Services sector, we were kept busy throughout the two days answering queries and taking orders of our ranges. Our very own ‘Suggie Bear’ also made an appearance!

We also gathered feedback on the prototypes of our new Ambulance range, which we unveiled for the first time at the show.

Featuring hi-vis garments and station wear the range we took unveiled consists of:

• Hi-vis breathable waterproof Ambulance Bomber Jacket
• Hi-vis ¾ length breathable Ambulance jacket
• Hi-vis Ambulance soft shell
• Hi-vis long sleeved waistcoat
• Hi-vis short sleeved waistcoat
• Male and Female Fit Trousers
• Wicking Polo Shirt
• Unisex Button-Front Shirt

After speaking to visitors from the Ambulance sector at the show, we have gathered feedback and will now look to develop the range to cater to everybody’s needs.

We also had on show some of the garments we’ve produced for various Fire & Rescue Services, our traditional Police uniform shirts, our very popular moisture Wicking Shirts and a new range of Safety Footwear.

We were surprised and honoured on the second day when the organisers of the show made a special visit to our stand to present us with a bottle of champagne to celebrate our 150^th anniversary!

So what now?

We’re digesting the results of a hectic show and beginning the process of leafing through the many enquiry forms that were filled in at the show. So if you did fill one in, we’ll be in touch shortly.
